UC Davis Pre-Med AMSA was founded in 1985 and has since grown in size to over 300 members. We are dedicated to serving our community through advocacy, volunteerism, and youth-outreach programs. In keeping with the philosophy of AMSA, we seek to provide insightful information for those who are interested in pursuing a medical career. Through guest speakers, community service, and interactions with medical students, Pre-Med AMSA provides information that may help fellow pre-medical students maximize their candidacy in a medical career and create a sincere appreciation for the practice and art of medicine.

AMSA Membership Application
It's never too late to become a member! Membership is open throughout the academic year.
2012 AMSA Banquet- Wednesday, May 22 at ARC Ballroom B
Pre-Med AMSA cordially invites you to the 2012 Banquet to celebrate our accomplishments for the year! Dinner from Pluto's and refreshments will be served, and active members will be honored for their service to the campus and community. Vegetarian options will be available. There will also be music, games, and prizes!
*This is a SEMI-FORMAL event, so please dress properly for the occasion.*
All registered AMSA members may attend free of charge. Non-AMSA members are free to join us in the celebration, and are encouraged to attend, but will have to pay $5 at the door or online when they RSVP. Still, feel free to bring your friends!
Certificates will be passed out to honor our active members for this year. This will be the only time to pick up certificates and if you have not already done so, your club T-shirts. Also come to welcome our 2012-2013 Board, who will be announced during Banquet!
Please RSVP by selecting the proper ticket (member, non-member) This guarantees that we will be able to accommodate you and your party for the event. Please print a copy of your ticket and bring it to the event.

AMSA 2012-2013 Board Positions- due Friday, May 18.
Become a part of the 2012-2013 Board for Pre-Med AMSA. We are looking for passionate individuals who are interested in working collectively towards encouraging and guiding students interested in a career in medicine. As a board member, you will be in charge of training and overseeing committee leaders, as well as planning 3-6 events per quarter. All positions are a year-long committment. Previous experience as a committee leader is encouraged, but not required.
