2009-2010 Membership Application


To become a member, you must first be a UC Davis student. A membership application is attached at the top of the page. Download, print, and fill in the blanks. Turn it in with a $20 membership fee, in our mailbox #366 at the 4th floor of the MU SPAC office. Or, you may turn it in to any board member at our general meetings. Further questions regarding membership, paid member status, and activity points are to be directed to davisamsa@yahoo.com.

Payment Options for Dues: Pay $20 (checks payable to PRE-MED AMSA) and this will cover your membership dues for the entire 2010-2011 school year and also recieve this year's t-shirt. (You may pick up your t-shirt from a Board member during any general meeting after you have paid your membership dues.)

Paid membership status can be checked here. This list is updated as soon as possible. Please be patient and wait a week or two before contacting us.

To be considered an ACTIVE MEMBER, you must be a paid member and participate in at least:
  • 1 general meeting per quarter
  • 1 general meeting or 1 workshop per quarter
  • 1 community service event per quarter
There is a PENALTY if:
  • you do not show up for the event you sign up for
  • you back out four days before the event, unless it is a valid emergency
Please remember that you are responsible and must be committed to showing up :: we need you, so don't leave! ::

If you do have to make that sacrifice, we require a fine of $5. Your activities for that quarter will be put on hold until that fine is paid. You will not be able to sign up for any event until the fine is paid in full.

Also, if you are not a paid member and decide to do events during the quarter, you will not recieve activity points unless your paid member status is completed before the end of the quarter.
